I have wanted to help people find hope and healing since I was sixteen. It was my own childhood trauma and adult healing from that trauma that has provided me compassion, empathy, and strength to help others on their path of healing.

I am a graduate of Louisiana State University of Shreveport and hold a Master’s of Liberal Arts degree and Master’s of Science and Counseling degree. I am also a graduate of Liberty University with a Doctorate in Philosophy with a concentration in psychology and theology. Additionally, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor (LPC-S) and Registered Play Therapist and Supervisor (RPT-S). I am also an EMDR Specialist for children and adolescents, EMDR-Sandtray specialist, as well as an EMDR provider for adults. I have also recently completed certification as a Religious Trauma Specialist. In addition, I am an Approved Provider for play therapy trainings for the Association for Play Therapy.

I am a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and offer faith-based counseling for those seeking that as part of their treatment.

LPC, NCC, CSAT,

CCPS-c,

EMDR Provider

One of the most important reasons I became a counselor is because I believe we all need someone to walk alongside us in the process of healing and restoration. I knew I wanted to become a counselor after experiencing counseling myself. It was a life-changing experience for me, and I want to provide that to others. I am passionate about helping people grow and reach the healthiest version of themselves in mind, body, and spirit.

I have a Bachelors Degree in Family and Child Studies from Louisiana Tech University and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nicholls State University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. I am a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist. I am also the only Certified Clinical Partner Specialist candidate in Louisiana through the organization of The Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists. In addition, I have been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing for adults and teens.

I offer faith-based counseling if a client would like that as part of his/her treatment.  I also offer weekly Partner Betrayal Trauma Groups for women who have discovered infidelity or a partner's problematic sexual behavior. In addition to clinical services for my clients, I also serve as Clinical Consultant for The HUB: Urban Ministries, which is a local non-profit organization that serves victims of human trafficking and those experiencing homelessness.
